Netherlands reach the World Cup semi finals. They beat 10—man Brazil by 2—1 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Friday.
Brazil dominated the first half. But the Dutch were a different team after the break. Striker Robinho scored a goal at 10 minutes for Brazil but a Felipe Melo own—goal on 53 minutes pulled them level.
Wesley Sneijder headed in the winner and Felipe Melo was sent—off for stamping on Arjen Robben as favourites Brazil lost their cool and crashed out of the tournament.
Netherlands who are unbeaten in 24 games and will play their semi—final in Cape Town on Tuesday against either Uruguay or Ghana.
